Environmental Studies 281: Mixed Methods for Environmental Analysis

The process to log into Pro or Online is the same - the only difference is:

• ArcGIS Pro: Access the program by logging into the application directly
• ArcGIS Online: Log into any browser on any machine (Chrome is recommended)

For accessing ArcGIS Pro while the academic buildings are open:

• RNS 400 - if the door is locked during building hours, stop by the Biology Department (RNS 260) first to see if they have a key. Sometimes Facilities can also unlock the door.
• DiSCO - all of the Windows machines have ArcGIS Pro installed

For accessing ArcGIS Pro after hours:

• DiSCO - The computers in the DiSCO are available until Rolvaag Memorial Library is closed (12am)

DiSCO is typically staffed:

• Monday - Thursday: 9am - 9pm
• Friday: 9am - 5pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 12pm - 9pm

Even if the DiSCO is not staffed, you can still work in the DiSCO Computers (Rolvaag is open until 12am) - however the spaces (The Set, AVs rooms, classroom) are locked at 9pm. Computers in the main area of the DiSCO are still available.

We can install ArcGIS Pro on any college Windows machine - if ArcGIS Pro is not available on a particular campus computer, submit a Software Request ticket to the IT Helpdesk. 

We are not able to install ArcGIS Pro on personal computers. ArcGIS Pro is not compatible with Mac.
