These are Story Maps created by other organizations and colleges. There are a variety of Story Maps that combine text, media, and location.

How do I determine which location to add?

This can be tricky in some scenarios! When looking through materials, reading a story, or researching a particular person or occurrence - there are a few pieces of information that we can turn into a map location:

Hometowns
Were they part of a particular historical event?
Where did they travel?
Did they publish any works or have any performances?
Any location noted in the written content

It is not important to be super accurate - recording a general location will also work! Use your best estimation on what the place might be.
