Annotating (adding notes to!) your bibliography:
- Description:
- What is the work’s argument?
- Who is the work’s intended audience?
- What are the authors’ qualifications to write on the topic?
- Analysis and Evaluation
- Context – what is the work’s place in the research on your topic?
- Significance – what are the work’s relevant conclusions about or contributions to your topic?
- Assessment – what are the work’s shortcomings, if any? What opportunities does it open for other research?
