History 121: Making Modern Russia

To create your own Timeline:

• Go to Timeline JS (https://timeline.knightlab.com/)
• Click on Make a Timeline

• The window will scroll down the screen, click on the button to Get the Spreadsheet Template
• Google Sheets will prompt you to make a copy of the template > click on Make a Copy
• The spreadsheet template with save to your Google Drive account 

• Collaboration - since the templates are Google Sheets, share the template will all of your group members and everyone can have access to contribute to the timeline
• Viewing - make sure to mark the Google Sheet share settings to "Anyone with the Link". Otherwise, it is likely that you may receive an error message if you try to view the timeline in a browser.
