Logging into ArcGIS Online
You will receive an invite to activate your account before the training session in class! If you want access the site earlier, submit a ticket to the IT Helpdesk.
It is recommended to use Chrome when accessing ArcGIS Online. For Mac users, Safari will occasionally cause errors with the log-in process. ArcGIS Online is also compatible with iOS.

St. Olaf ArcGIS OnlineTo start your project, make sure to log into the ArcGIS Online organization for St. Olaf College. When using the site, the St. Olaf banner should appear on the page.

Sharing and Publishing
Make sure that your project is shared to the "Political Science 245, Spring 2025: Asian Regionalism" ArcGIS Online Group! All projects should be shared as "public" or "public unlisted".
- Please Note - ArcGIS Online does NOT have simultaneous editing (like Google Docs). Everyone in the group can contribute, but only one person can access the same project at a time.
- The projects will auto-save, but if you make updates you will have to republish the project.
