History 249: Genealogy and History Workshop

Couple of notes:

• Please check the copyright and usage of any image that you use!
• Only the black background is currently available for this process
• This should work in any of the Map Tour type formats in Story Maps
• Currently, we can only add points (not lines or shapes) as annotations
• Only PNG or JPEG files that are a file size of 10MB or less - there may be some unavoidable image distortion

If you don't want to annotate or add features - you can just add the map as a plain image to Story Maps directly! This process is only needed if the picture needs to be interactive.
