The Halvorson Music Library

The Halvorson Music Library is located on the main floor of the Christianson Hall of Music.  It contains approximately 15,000 books, 20,000 scores, 17,000 sound recordings, and 800 video recordings.  The library has its own reference area for basic resources, study tables, computers and carrels, as well as equipment that you can use to listen to recordings.  Aside from physical media, the library also has access to many online resources including audio and video streaming databases.  You can search Catalyst to discover the materials that you need.  The book collection is open for browsing and retrieval but you need to request audio and video recordings at the desk.
