- Learn how to navigate some useful news sources, again for your case study
- Briefly touch on some databases where you can find scholarly articles (for case study + class leadership session)
- And take some time along the way to start thinking about your research!
Slide 3: Worktime! Choose your own adventure
- Some suggestions on how to use this time:
- Find the state for your case study in Europa World Plus and read about its recent history
- Start thinking about what developmental factor you want to focus on
- Try searching for relevant Amnesty International/Human Rights Reports for your state
- Look up news about and/or from your state in BBC Monitoring Library or Access World News. Do you notice any immediate themes in the headlines?
- Find one book or scholarly article that is relevant to your research in Catalyst or a database
- Use a permalink so you can get back to its page!
