A bit more about the Program Assistant (and librarian!)

Ann is the Research & Instruction Librarian for Social Sciences and Data Literacy, serving as liaison to Psychology and most of the Social Science departments. She came to St. Olaf in 2018 after she earned her MA in Library and Information Studies from UW-Madison.

Ann lives in Bloomington with her husband, Adam. They play in two different D&D games every week and love to watch movies and tv shows. They've seen every Japanese Godzilla film, the entire run of Agatha Christie's Poirot, and are currently watching Columbo. Ann studied abroad in London in undergrad and lived in Tokyo for around a year while she worked at Bunkyo Gakuin University as an RA for the international students and as a coordinator in the International Program Office. She loves trying new foods and exploring new places while traveling. She's never been to Norway, and is excited to experience it for the first time alongside you all!
