Online Images
Many museums have images of their collections online, available for free.
You can also try running a Google search for your topic plus the word "museum" (i.e., African American Museum) to find more specialized collections. On the museum website, look for pages titled "collections" or "exhibits" to start exploring images.
IMPORTANT COPYRIGHT INFO: Be sure to read the museum's policy on using images, which should be displayed prominently on the image collections page. If you plan to download images and use them in presentations, you will need to provide credit for the image. Your best bet is to look for images covered by a Creative Commons License.
