Slide 3: Choose your own adventure!

Use the Abdallah article to practice the research strategies we just reviewed!

  • Use Google Scholar to conduct a cited reference search and locate another relevant article. Make sure to use the “Search Within Citing Articles” option.
  • Navigate to the Browzine page for Infant Behavior & Development. To do that, click on Social Science and Behavioral Science -> Psychology -> Developmental Psychology -> Infant Behavior & Development
  • Browse through issues of the journal. Are there any articles that look interesting? Check if we have access!
  • Try out a journal search.  Go to Catalyst’s Journal Browse feature (Articles -> Browse Journals) and search for Infant Behavior & Development, then follow the link to ScienceDirect. Try using keywords to find additional relevant articles.
  • Conduct an author search for one of the other authors from the article. Have they continued to publish on this topic?
