Rolvaag Circulation Desk
The Rolvaag Circulation Desk is immediately to your left as you walk into Rolvaag Library.
The Circulation Desk is staffed by students and permanent St. Olaf staff. When approaching the desk to check out books or equipment you will need your St. Olaf ID. Consult the Borrowing Policies page to find out how long you may keep something you have checked out.

Book checkout. This is the primary service offered at the Circulation Desk. |

Books on Reserve: If your professor tells you that they have put a book or video or video games on "Reserve" you will need to ask for them at the Circulation Desk. The worker on duty will locate the item for you and help you with checkout. They will tell you how long you can have the item (2 hours, 4 hours, or 1 day). For further information check the Course Reserves Information page. |

St. Olaf - Carleton Book Exchange: If you requested or need to return a book from Carleton you can do so at the Circulation Desk.. |

Resource Sharing: The Circulation Desk can help If you have a question about this an item you have requested through Resource Sharing. You can also return your Resource Sharing loan books at this desk. |
► | Equipment checkout: You can check out cameras, tripods, microphones, and computer chargers. |

Lockers: If you would like a locker (down one floor from the main entrance of Rolvaag), you can rent one at the Circulation Desk. |

Lost and Found: If you think you have lost something in Rolvaag you can check at the Circulation Desk. They have a lost and found. |

Ask Questions: The staff at the Circulation Desk can help you with basic questions such as how to find something in the library, how to look up something in Catalyst, library hours, etc. However, if you need research help they will direct you to a librarian. If you need assistance with computer issues, they will refer you to the IT Help Desk. |
