How to attach lens:
- If working with one of our Sony Mirrorless Models, make sure to remove the lens that is currently on it. To do this, press the button on the right bottom and twist counterclockwise
- Before installing the new lens, make sure that the lens caps are off
- There are two, one in the front and one in the back. Keep these in a safe location!
- Located the two white dots
- One will be on the rim of the camera body, near the lens. The other will be located on the barrel of the lens.
- Align both dots and turn clockwise until there is a click.
How to attach lens hood:
- When receiving the lens from the Tech Circulation desk, the lens will have a hood on backwards. This ensures that the lens fits in its carrying case perfectly.
- Align the red lines located on the lens hood and the lens body.
- Rotate clockwise until there is a click and the red line from the lens body lines up with a red dot on the lens hood.
