Apple Pencil (1st Generation)
Compatibility:
iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd generation), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (1st generation), iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPad Pro 9.7-inch, iPad Air (3rd generation), iPad (10th generation), iPad (9th generation), iPad (8th generation), iPad (7th generation), iPad (6th generation), iPad mini (5th generation)

Connecting Apple Pencil to iPad:
- Remove top cap from the Apple Pencil
- Plug Pencil into the lightning port charging area
- A notice will appear asking if you would like to pair the Apple Pencil to the iPad. Click pair
- The Apple Pencil will now remain paired with the iPad until it is restarted or the bluetooth is turned off.
For iPad (10th generation), follow the same steps but use a USB-C adaptor
Checking the battery status:
- Check the Batteries widget, which can be found by sliding the home screen all the way to the left. If this cannot be found, go to settings and then Apple Pencil to the battery level.
