GoPro Hero 11
- How do I charge the GoPro?
- Unlock the door latch and flip it open.
- Connect your camera to a USB charger or computer using the included USB-C cable (note: three hours needed for full charge.).
- Unplug the cable and shut the latch when charging is complete.
- How do I turn it on?
- Press the Mode button to turn the camera on.
- Press and hold the Mode button for three seconds to turn off the device.
- What are the display options?
- The from screen features four display options.
- Full Screen: displays the live preview as a full-screen shot.
- Actual Screen: displays the live preview from the lens without cropping.
- Status Only: Displays camera status without the live preview from the lens.
- Screen Off: Turns the screen off. Use this setting in dark environments where light from the screen might interfere with your shot. This setting maximizes battery life.

- Are there different media-capturing modes?
- Recording: press the shutter button to start recording. Press the shutter button again to stop recording (video, time lapse, and live streaming only).
- Three main capture modes:
- Video (default): Includes standard, full frame, activity, cinematic, and slo-mo presets.
- Photo: Includes photo, burst, and night presets.
- How can I select presets?
- Preset changes: tap 'capture settings,' tap that preset that you want. All presets will be locked into the camera and ready to go.
- Customizing Presets:
- From the capture screen, press and hold 'capture settings' to skip straight to the settings menu.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to view options. Once you've selected your desired setting, scroll down for more advanced settings.
- Tap the "<" button to save your changes and return to the presets screen.
- How can I add HiLight tags?
- Used to mark favorite moments in videos or photos by pressing the Mode button during recording or playback.
- Add HiLight tags by saying 'GoPro, HiLight" out loud when voice control is on or tapping the child icon when watching your footage back with the GoPro Quick app.
- Are there video presets?
- There are 5:
- Standard: good for all-purpose recording
- Full frame: highest quality mode only; good for creating extra tall (9:16) vertical shots or any other size for social media with less cropping
- Activity: ultra immersive footage of all activities
- Cinematic: captures 5.3k high resolution video; uses the Linear digital lens
- Slo-Mo: for fast-action shots; records in 2.7k footage; lets you slow things down to 8x normal speed during playback

- How do I take photos?
- Photo Settings
- Timer: set up a 3 or 10 second timer for your photo
- Zoom: use the slider on the right to adjust the zoom level
- Shutter (night): set how long the shutter stays open for night shots and choose longer exposures for darker shots
- Burst rate: choose how many photos the camera will take in a 1,3,6, or 10 second burst
- Protune: gives you manual control of advanced settings including shutter, bit rate, color, ISO limit, and exposure

- How can I play back media?
- Gallery View: gives quick access to all videos and photos stored on the SD card
- From the playback screen, tap the '9' block symbol --> swipe up to scroll through your media --> tap the video or photo to see it in full screen view
- How can I export media?
- Remove the SD card from the camera
- Insert the card into an SD card reader or adapter
- Plug the card reader into your computer/device's USB port or insert the adapter into the SD card slot
- Copy the files to your computer/device
- How do I mount the GoPro 11?
- Flip the folding fingers down into the mounting position
- Interlock the folding fingers on the camera with the mounting fingers on the buckle
- Secure the camera to the mounting buckles with a thumb screw
- Attach the mounting buckle plug
- Flip the mounting buckle plug up
- Slide the buckles into the mount until it clicks into place
- Press the plug back down so that it sits flush with the buckle
