Turning On/Off
- Find the dial on the right side of the camera and switch it to ON
- Once you are done using the camera, switch the dial to OFF
Charging the Battery
- Take the battery out of the camera and find the included battery charger
- There is a latch located on the underside of the camera, slide the cover lock to open the cover
- Push the battery lock lever and the battery should pop out easily, then close the cover sliding the lock to lock it
- Connect the power cord to the charger then into an outlet
- Fully insert the battery into the charger
- Fully charging a depleted battery takes around 2 hours
Using the Screen
- Flip out the screen and you should be able to tilt it up or down and rotate it
- Normally the camera screen faces when in use
Attaching & Detaching Lenses
- Attaching
- Remove the rear lens cap and body cap by turning them to the left
- Align the red mount index on the lens with the red mount index on the camera and turn the lens to the right until it clicks into place
- Set the focus in settings to AF (autofocus) or MF (manual focus)
- Set the lens focus mode to AF or MF on the lens located on the left side (this takes precedence over the camera setting)
- Detaching
- While pressing the lens release button, turn the lens to the left
- Turn it until it stops, then detach it
- Attach another lens or the rear lens cap to the lens you removed
- Lens Adapters
- Align the red or white mount index on the lens with the corresponding index on the adapter then turn until it clicks into place
- Align the red mount indexes on the adapter and camera and turn the lens right until it clicks into place
Image/Video Playback
- Images
- Press the image button next to the MENU button and the last image taken or played back is displayed
- Use the left and right arrow keys to shuffle through the photos
- Press the image button again to exit image playback and return to shooting standby
- The camera features a touch screen panel that you can use to control playback after pressing the image button
- Videos
- Switch to playback mode and select a video using the arrow keys
- In single image display, select the SET button then select PLAY
- You can pause and access video playback by pressing the SET button
- Use the up and down arrow keys to adjust volume
Formatting the SIM Card
- Open the menu settings and scroll to the yellow wrench
- Scroll down to Format Card and select
- Select OK
- This will erase all content on the SIM card
