How do you turn it on?
- On the button pad, press the power button. If it is red, the speaker needs to be charged. Orange means battery is half full, while green indicates full battery.
How to connect the Speaker to my device?
- The speaker should go into pairing mode as soon as it is turned on. If not, then press and hold the bluetooth button on the button pad. Turn on bluetooth settings on your device and look for Bose Soundlink.
How do I know it is connected to my device?
- The Bluetooth light on the speaker will blink blue when it's ready to connect. It will blink white when it's in the process of connecting, and it will appear a solid white when it's connected to a device.

- Battery Protection Mode Active: The SoundLink II Speaker goes into Protection Mode, if not used or charged in 2 weeks time. To remedy this, connect the speaker to an A/C outlet power source.
- Not Connected:
- Check if your device is up to date with the latest software.
- Check if the bluetooth toggle is ‘ON’ in your device and that the device is not far away from the speaker
