Hearing Assist Receiver
Features
- The set includes a receiver, batteries, headphones (earphones are available upon request), and a neckloop telecoil coupler
- Ideal for assistive listening and language interpretation in spaces such as conference rooms, classrooms, small cinema/theaters
- Neckloop telecoil coupler is compatible with hearing aids equipped with a T-coil switch. 3.5 mm jack
Set-Up
- Ensure that two AA batteries are in the receiver
- Plug the provided headphones or connect the neck loop telecoil coupler to your hearing aids
- Locate the scroller at the top of the device and adjust the volume from 1 to 5
- The red light underneath the power symbol will indicate that the receiver is on
- Place the receiver around your neck using the provided strap and you should be all set
Using the Neckloop Telecoil Coupler
- There should be a manual included with the neckloop but if you cannot find it then follow these instructions
- Place the neck loop over your head and around your neck
- Adjust the cord lock to a comfortable position; this helps keep the neck loop in optimal position for coupling with your hearing aid
- Plug the neck loop into the 3.5mm jack on the receiver and set the volume control to "3" to about half of full volume
- Turn the switch on your hearing aid to the "T" position and adjust the volume for comfortable listening
- If the sound I weak, increase the volume on the receiver, then on your hearing aid
- The neck loop features an integrated safety breakaway device that will disconnect the neck loop from the user if it becomes entangled with an object in motion
