Epson PowerLite 1795F 3200-Lumen Projector
Turning On
- Open the projector’s lens cover then connect the power cord to the projector’s power inlet.
- Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet and the power light will turn blue indicating that it is receiving power.
- Press the power button on the projector or on the remote control to turn the projector on.
- The projector will beep and flash blue then will stop flashing once the projector is warmed up.
Using the Home Screen
- To display the home screen press the home button on the control panel or on the remote control.
- Press the arrow buttons on the remote control or control panel to navigate the screen and press enter to select an option.
- Use the sources menu to select the video source you want to project.
- Press the home button to hide the home screen.
Selecting an Image Source
- Make sure the connected image source you wish to use is on.
- For video image sources, insert a DVD or other video media and press its play button if necessary.
- Using the remote, press the button for the source you want. OR Press the home button on the remote or projector and select the image source.
Turning Off
- Before turning off the projector, shutdown any computer connected to it.
- Press the power button the the remote or projector and there will be a shutdown confirmation screen.
- Press the power button again and make sure the status light is off then unplug the projector (DO NOT unplug the projector if the status light is on or flashing).
Connecting Devices
- Computer Sources
- In projector’s extended menu, set the USB Type B setting to USB Display then turn on the computer.
- Connect the cable to the projector’s USB-B port and the other end to any available USB port on your computer.
- Install the Epson USB Display Software and follow the on-screen instructions.
- VGA Video
- If necessary, disconnect your computer’s monitor cable then connect the VGA computer cable to the computer’s monitor port.
- Connect the other end to the Computer port on the projector and tighten the screws on the VGA connector.
- HDMI Video & Audio
- Connect the HDMI cable to your computer’s HDMI output port and connect the other end to the projector’s HDMI port.
Adjusting the Image Height
- To adjust the front foot, pull up on the foot release lever and life the front of the projector.
- Release the lever to lock the foot and if the image is tilted then rotate the rear feet to adjust their height.
Correcting Image Shape
- Press the Screen Fit button on the projector or the remote.
- Then move the projector as necessary until it fits the screen and press the Screen Fit button again.
- There is also the option of using the keystone buttons on the projector’s control panel to adjust the image shape.
