Setting Up the Tripod
- Unfold the legs from the body
- To adjust the height of the tripod, open the levers on the leg locking collar and slide the leg out to the desired height, then re-lock the levers
Mounting the Camera to the Tripod
- Open the lever on the tripod head and release the quick release plate
- Screw the plate into the bottom of the camera
- Place the camera with the plate attached back into the head of the tripod and lock the lever
Removing the Camera from the Head
- Open the lever on the tripod head and remove the camera
- Unscrew the quick release plate from the camera
- Put the plate back in the tripod and close the lever locking the plate in place
Adjusting Camera Angle
- Unlock the head by rotating the locking dial backwards, adjust to desired angle, and rotate the dial forwards to re-lock the head
- To extend the neck of the tripod, loosen the screw on the body and pull the head to the desired height, then tighten the screw
- To use the PHOTO setting, turn the selecter to a horizontal position
- To use the VIDEO setting, turn the selecter to a vertical position
